TNP joins Technology Products 2 purchasing system for public sector31/01/2017

Public sector networking specialist TNP (The Networking People) has been awarded the right to supply hardware and software products under the Technology Products 2 (RM3733) agreement which forms part of the newly formed Technology Pillar within Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

The strategic aim of CCS is to develop a world class technology goods supply chain for the public sector. TNP has gained the opportunity to provide a wide range of commoditised technology hardware and software products through a single online catalogue within the RM3733 framework, providing a flexible purchasing route for public sector buyers.

TNP Commercial Director Chris Wade explains:

“The fact that we have been awarded the opportunity to operate within the framework demonstrates we can meet the high standards set by CCS and underscores our commitment to delivering cost effective solutions for the public sector.

“Public sector organisations are under increasing pressure to deliver value for money in the way they purchase technology goods and services, and this framework is designed to help them meet that objective”

The new agreement went live on 31 October 2016 and replaces the previous Technology Products service for UK public sector organisations.
