Scott has over 10 years experience in Network Engineering, beginning as a Network Engineer at Lancaster University, then becoming senior network architect at LUNS, before going on to become one of the founders of TNP in 2011.

As well as being responsible for the management of TNP, Scott oversees the hands-on, engineering-led approach of TNP, and has attained the Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE) and Fortinet Certified Network Security Expert qualifications, among others. Scott also holds ITILv3 Foundation and Prince2 Foundation.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in telecommunications and started his career with British Telecom. Thriving on new projects and technology, Chris went on to work with Datapoint and then First Direct, installing and managing some of the first digital ACD and Powerdialler systems in the UK. His consultancy and management skills were further defined at ACC Telecom where he introduced student telephone
and broadband services to some of the UK’s leading universities.

He then went on to gain valuable experience of public sector consultancy at Improcom Limited (now part of PTS Consulting). As a Director, Chris was working on some of the largest Higher Education and Public Sector networking procurements at that time. In 2005 Chris formed MML to provide independent consultancy in the ICT industry for both users and vendors. During this time he worked on successful projects at the University of York (for the Science Park IT Centre), Keycom PLC and Lancaster University Network Services.

Since 2012, Chris has managed the commercial growth of TNP. As a founder and Director he has successfully delivered large public sector networking projects with organisations such as Warrington Council, Shetland Islands Council, Stirling Council and Blackpool Council. TNP clients are able to benefit from Chris’s experience as both a buyer and a vendor allowing them to develop and evaluate complex specifications that can elicit the best solutions from suppliers and bidders.
